Civil and Architecture

Multidimensional growth and development of the nation has necessitated expansion of the civil and infrastructure needs to meet with the demand. We have earlier undertaken a major number of building projects including World Class Hotels, Resorts, Major government Buildings, Luxury Villas, Mosque, Radio Station, Shopping Malls, Sports Complex, etc.

The major projects completed include construction of Haffa House Hotels at Muscat & Salalah, Samaram Resort at Salalah, Ministry of Justice Building, Fishing Training Institute, etc.

Apart from above, we are participating / in process of getting jobs with large magnitude such as construction of civil aviation building, Institutional Buildings, Control Room Buildings, Water retaining Structures for Sewage Treatment Plants and Networking, Industrial Buildings etc.

Electrical Mechanical & Instrumentation:

STC has diversified itself in other fields of EPC involving Transmission Lines, Substations, Sewage and Water Treatment Plant and Oil & Gas Electro-Mechanical Works. In association with our co-group companies, we are in process of developing ourselves in the new challenging sectors.

In the process, new joint ventures are being formed with the expertise from all over the globe to enhance our excellence and competency.
The other prominent areas of interest in the field of EPC include Airport and air field development works, consisting huge magnitude of EM & I works. STC is keen to become prominent player with joint venture partners with new technology to meet the challenges.

Rehabilitation and improvement of existing roads:

Our Roads Division has a well-deserved reputation for undertaking some of the most ambitious projects and dealing with the challenges offered by mountains and deserts. Hundreds of kilometres of roads have been carved through Oman’s rugged terrain.

Road Projects

In consonance with the thought to contribute in development & groom the nation, we have been instrumental in providing the connectivity to each and every inaccessible corner of Sultanate. In the process, we have constructed over 3,300 km of road network. We have constructed the roads in most difficult terrains involving mountainous terrain requiring the blasting and careful excavations to the depth of even 100 metres, deserts and plain areas. The type of roads constructed by us includes Single 2 Lane Carriageway to Dual Carriageway with street lighting and other major road features.

More than 1000 Kms of Roads have been undertaken by us as maintenance contract in Muscat, capital region, Al Sharqiya region, Al Wosta region. The maintenance includes rehabilitation, asphalting, protection and all kinds of works involved in the process of its being functional.

We have a number of Asphalt Plants, WMM Plants, Concrete Plants, Crushers, Paving Equipments and fleet of large nos. of other Constructional Equipments. STC is constantly improving its technical skill and methodology to fulfill its commitment to improve the operational efficiency. Our biggest asset is the committed and motivated workforce apart from world class fleet of equipments.
